Privacy Policy

Charge Nord ("the app", "we") is a smart-charging app for Tesla vehicles operated by Edgars Volkovs, Latvia ("the operator"). This policy explains what data the app handles and why. The short version: we store the minimum needed to plan your charging, we sell nothing, and we show no ads.

Data we collect

• Tesla account: your Tesla account identifier, name and e-mail address, received from Tesla when you sign in with your Tesla account. We never see your Tesla password.
• Vehicle data: your vehicle's VIN, name, and telemetry the vehicle streams over Tesla's official Fleet API — battery level, charging state, energy, temperatures and location. Location is used to detect whether the car is at your home or another saved charging location.
• Your settings: charging plans, price zone, tariff settings, saved locations (such as "Home") and notification preferences.
• Push token: a device token used to deliver notifications via Apple's push service.
• Subscription state: whether you have an active Premium subscription, received from Apple. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details.

What we use it for

Solely to provide the service: planning and controlling charging around Nord Pool prices, showing charging history, savings and battery-health estimates, and sending the notifications you enabled. We do not sell or share your data for advertising, and the app contains no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

Where it is stored

All data is stored on our server in the European Union (Stockholm, Sweden, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure). Traffic between the app, the vehicle and the server is encrypted (TLS).

Third parties

• Tesla, Inc. — vehicle access works over Tesla's official Fleet API under your Tesla account authorization. You can revoke it at any time in your Tesla account settings.
• Apple — push notification delivery and subscription payments.
• Elering / Nord Pool — we fetch public electricity prices. No personal data is sent to them.

Retention and deletion

Data is kept while your account is active. Disconnecting the app from your Tesla account stops all data collection. To delete your account and all stored data, e-mail us — we will confirm deletion within 30 days.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, and you may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Contact us at charge-nord@73agency.lv.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated effective date.
